 lt artist with a focus on abstract improvisational design. She pieces her 
 quilts without a definitive image of what the finished piece will look lik
 e.  She starts with a general concept and color palette then sees where s
 he is led.\n\nMarge made her first quilt over twenty-five years ago for fr
 iends expecting their first child. At that time\, she didn’t know that q
 uilting would become her passion and profession.\n\nDuring her lecture thi
 s evening\, Marge describes her  quilting journey\, starting from the fir
 st quilt. "I remember seeing to becoming a quilting instructor/fiber artis
 t."  Her story includes sources of inspiration for quilt designs and how 
 quilting has changed her life.\n\nMarge has received numerous awards for h
 er quilts\, including “Best Machine Quilting” at QuiltCon 2019 and “
 Best Sewing Machine Workmanship Award – Modern” at the 2019 Pacific In
