 bsp\;\n\n\n\nDo you have EQ8\, need help getting started? Do you want to p
 urchase EQ8\, but need a beginner class to get you started? This is the cl
 ass where you will learn all those things. Come and learn about designing 
 blocks\, color palette (color/fabrics)\, designing appliqué\, printing ap
 pliqué shapes\, sizing quilts\, printing yardage requirements. Learn vari
 ous layouts\, designing appliqué using units from blocks\, drawing and sh
 aping stems using nodes\, using tones\, tints\, and shades to give depth a
 nd lots of other things that come up as we work through the design of the 
 quilt. You will design the quilt pictured.\n\nThis is an in-person class\,
  not on-line. You must have EQ8 installed on a laptop\, and must have it r
 egistered with EQ8 and ready to go. Please bring your power cord\, an exte
 nsion cord\, and mouse.\n\nIf you have EQ6\, EQ7 or EQ-mini\, they can all
  be upgraded to EQ8 at a lower cost than purchasing the full version. Go t

 t Harrison is a long-arm quilter\, lecturer\, workshop and seminar teacher
 \, quilt designer\, author\, and a quilt judge certified by the National 
 Association of Certified Quilt Judges.\n\nPat has been a long-arm quilting
  since 1999 and has earned numerous regional\, national\, and internationa
 l awards—both for her own quilts and those of her customers. Her work\, 
 including quilt designs and articles\, have been featured in books\, magaz
 ines\, on television\, and even on a DVD.\n\nIn January 2023\, She was hon
 ored to be a featured quilter in Quiltfolk Issue #25\, Rhode Island. Then\
 , in December 2023\, she was delighted to discover her quilt\, Strippy Scr
 appy\, showcased as the August image in Quiltfolk’s 2024 calendar.\nPa
 t enjoys every aspect of the quilt-making process\, but her favorite part 
 is designing quilting that enhances the beauty of the quilt top. She loves
  watching the transformation as the quilting brings the piece to life\, ad
 ding depth and dimension.\n\nLecturing\, teaching\, and judging allow her 
 to share her knowledge of the entire quilt-making process—from design an
 d construction to the joy of a finished project and even the intricacies o
 f quilt judging. She especially loves encouraging quilters of all skill le
 vels to explore new techniques\, experiment with color combinations\, and
