- When and where is the 2025 RNQG Quilt Show?

Click the "Quilt Show '25" navigation button on the left for a summary.  Quilt show setup takes place on Friday, April 4, time TBD.

- What makes the RNQG Quilt Show special
(besides beautiful quilts made by our talented members)?

  • vendor booths, offering a wide variety of quilting and crafting products
  • on-site quilt appraisals by  Diana Reinhardt Annis (email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more info)
  • "Boutique" table where guild members display and sell crafted items, quilting supplies, books, fabric, etc.
  • themed raffle basket extravaganza
  • special exhibit of antique quilts

- How many quilts can I enter in the show?

As many as you wish!  Only the first 3 are guaranteed to be shown.  Others will be allowed as space permits.  The "Priority" field in the Quilt Registration e-form is how you indicate your priority for quilts to be included in the show.  Quilts given priorities 1 through 3 and all "Look What I Made with RNQG" quilts are guaranteed to be accepted.  Quilts prioritized 4 - 98 will only be accepted if more quilts are needed to fill the room.  You may not register a quilt that has appeared in a previous RNQG quilt show.

- When should I register my quilts?

As soon as possible, but no later than February 3, 2025!  A quilt can be registered before it is completed  if you have confidence that it will be ready for the show. You must be able to estimate the completed quilt size and submit a photo of the quilt in progress.  If you are unsure of the exact finished size, it is better to estimate slightly larger than expected so the quilt display chair will not need to change quilt placement plans during show setup.  If you decide a quilt you have registered can not be completed before the show, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ASAP but no later than February 3, 2025

- How do I register a quilt?

First, read the article found under the "Quilt Entry Rules" tab to make certain you understand all the requirements.  Then click on the "e-form" tab shown at the top of this page!  There is help information available through the form for most of the fields -- just hover the cursor over the adjacent blue rectangle with a question mark to display the help information for the field.  If this doesn't answer your question, send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

- Help!  What do I do if my photo is too large to attach to the e-form?

It is very easy to re-size photos on both Macs and Windows-based computers using programs that came with your computer! Click <here> for an article on how to reduce the size of your photos.

- Help!  What if I can't get the e-form to work?

Three options: 1) Ask a friend for help.    2) Contact  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  with questions.   3) Get on the schedule for assistance at an upcoming guild meeting.

- What must I do to sell items at the "Boutique" table?

Full details on registering and labeling DONATED AND CONSIGNED items for sale can be found by clicking the "Boutique" tab found at the top of this page.  Boutique items must be brought to the Blue Hills Regional Technical School during show setup on April 4, 2025.  Individuals selling items at the boutique -- DONATED or CONSIGNED --  must retrieve ALL unsold items at the close of the show on Sunday, April 6.  100% of the proceeds from items sold as "DONATED" go to RNQG; sellers will receive checks for 70% of the total income from their CONSIGNED sold items when accounts for the quilt show are reconciled.  RNQG keeps a 30% commission for CONSIGNED items sold. Aditional information can be found on the "Boutique" page accessed by the tab at the top of this page.  Additional boutique questions should be emailed to the Boutique co-chairs at This email address is being protected from spambots. - What else can I do to help?

  • Place an ad in our show booklet or encourage someone else to do so!  The business does not have to be related to quilting.  The new "Booster" ad sizes are affordable for guild members, friends and families!
Click <here> for the printable ad form that includes ad sizes and prices.

  • Help the guild to advertise the show!  Postcards listing show details can be picked up at any guild meeting -- give them to friends, neighbors and business associates.  Or click here for a 8 ½ X 11 flyer to print and hang in your local library, grocery store, employee bulletin board or any other public place that gives you permission to advertise the event.
  • Sell tickets for our raffle quilt!  With the previously mentioned postcard in hand, the tickets will practically sell themselves to your friends, relatives and co-workers.  You can also suggest a venue where tickets can be sold, such as retreats, bazaars, and church fairs.  If you would like additional ticket books to sell contact the raffle quilt ticket chair at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
  • Register to mentor a new member!   RNQG usually attracts new members from people who attend the quilt show.  The "Big Sister Mentor" initiative connects new members with existing members.  As a Big Sister, you are asked to call your Little Sister (or Brother) during the week following the show to welcome them and invite them to the April meeting.  At the first meeting attended by your new "sibling", you are expected to seek them out, sit with them, and introduce them to the guild.  To participate, sign up at the guild meeting or send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • Recruit able-bodied friends, relatives, or student groups to assist during show setup on Friday, April 4 and show tear down on Sunday, April 6!  We need several people per 2-hour shift capable of carrying bins and climbing ladders.
  • Sign up to work shifts at the show, whether or not you enter quilts!  Remember that show proceeds help to fund our programs for the next two years so EVERYONE benefits from its success.  To volunteer, email  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  or sign up at the monthly guild meetings.  You get to choose your volunteer task, date and time slot!
  • Create, contribute items to, or fund a raffle basket!  The raffle basket chair(s) have a number of basket themes in mind which may be listed in recent RNQG newsletters.  If you would like to create, or contribute items to a basket, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your intentions.  If you would prefer to let someone else make the purchases to fill a basket, you can add cash to the raffle basket money jar at any of the in-person monthly guild meetings prior to the show date (Oct 2024 through March 2025).
