Advertising is a great way to increase attendance at the RNQG quilt show! Here are suggestions on how to support this aspect of show production.
- Print and post the RNQG Show Flyer in public places such as
- Public Libraries
- Gas Stations
- Supermarket “announcement” boards
- Your place of employment
- Quilt Shops
- Community Centers
- Meeting Halls (Knights of Columbus, Church, etc…)
- Distribute Quilt Show bookmarks and postcards to friends and family members
- Help sell Raffle Quilt tickets at Town Days
- When you register a quilt, submit the Publicity Questionnaire (part of the e-form) to provide information about your quilting history for inclusion in your local newspaper
Always make sure to ask for permission before posting flyers or leaving a stack of bookmarks or postcards!
