EQ8 is the current version of the world’s most popular quilt designing software from Electric Quilt Company. Do you have EQ8 and never did anything with it? This is a beginner class to learn the basics of this powerful tool. This is an in-person class, not on-line. You must have EQ8 installed on a laptop, and must have it registered with EQ8 and ready to go. Please bring your power cord, an extension cord, and mouse.
If you have EQ6, EQ7 or EQ-mini, they can all be upgraded to EQ8 at a lower cost than purchasing the full version. Go to the Electric quilt company website: www.Electricquilt.com.

Pat Harrison is a long-arm quilter, lecturer, workshop and seminar teacher, quilt designer, author, and a quilt judge certified by the National Association of Certified Quilt Judges.
Pat has been a long-arm quilting since 1999 and has earned numerous regional, national, and international awards—both for her own quilts and those of her customers. Her work, including quilt designs and articles, have been featured in books, magazines, on television, and even on a DVD.
In January 2023, She was honored to be a featured quilter in Quiltfolk Issue #25, Rhode Island. Then, in December 2023, she was delighted to discover her quilt, Strippy Scrappy, showcased as the August image in Quiltfolk’s 2024 calendar.
Pat enjoys every aspect of the quilt-making process, but her favorite part is designing quilting that enhances the beauty of the quilt top. She loves watching the transformation as the quilting brings the piece to life, adding depth and dimension.
Lecturing, teaching, and judging allow her to share her knowledge of the entire quilt-making process—from design and construction to the joy of a finished project and even the intricacies of quilt judging. She especially loves encouraging quilters of all skill levels to explore new techniques, experiment with color combinations, and push their creative boundaries. After all, quilting should be fun!
