Topic: EPP vs. FPP – The Showdown
English Paper Piecing or Foundation Paper Piecing? What’s the difference? What are the pros and cons of each technique? Which technique is your favorite? We will try to answer these questions as Tina shares dozens of quilts and many tips and tricks. Quilts from each technique will be pitted against each other and you will vote for your favorites. At the end, we will tally up the votes and declare a winner!
Tina Craig started quilting in 1990 in a beginner sampler class at a Connecticut quilt shop. That class sparked an intense desire to learn everything about this art form. Tina aims to bring that enthusiasm to every lecture and workshop. Specializing in precision piecing, Tina enjoys teaching English Paper Piecing (by hand) and Foundation Paper Piecing (by machine). She enjoys visiting guilds in person or on zoom.
Tina has been on the faculty of the International Quilt Festival in Houston, A Quilters Destination in Pennsylvania and Vermont, AQS Paducah, Road to Virginia and Mancuso Virtual Quiltfest. She was honored to be featured in Quiltfolk magazine issue 25, Rhode Island. She can be seen on The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims in episode 3705.
When not quilting, Tina enjoys hiking, beach combing and bird watching with her husband, adult children and grandsons.
